The archipelago of the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean is a tropical paradise. The 42 main islands derive their special from a unique geologiceal feature: They consist of granite which forms bizarrely shaped sculptures on the beaches.

When you are sailing in the Mediterranean or in tropical destinations you might come in the position to replenish your fresh-water tanks. Not from every tap you get drinking water. Even if you read “drinking water” on the tag, be careful! That is not necessarily real drinking water that is safe and well tolerated by your stomach.

The second marina of Pula called Marina Veruda is situated some kilometres outside the town. The old town marina is very central, close to historic monuments, restaurants, fish, meat and vegetable markets. The advantage of Marina Veruda on the contrary is its safe and quiet situation.

„Man overboard!“ During easiest conditions it can happen or in the toughest storm. Often it happens without any prior warning. Very fast consideration and immediate action is then required by the skipper.

The charter company Veritas Yachting is situated in the Marina Kremik which is only 3 nautical miles away in the south of Primošten. The Old Town of this city is situated on a hilly peninsula that you can easily reach with your sailing yacht because there is a special jetty for boats.

Split is the second biggest city in Croatia and is situated directly at the Mediterranean coast. If you start your sailing holidays from this city, do not miss to visit the old historical town and the Diocletian's Palace that is protected by the UNESCO because it is one of the most unique architectural and cultural construct in Europe.

Šibenik is an old historic town in Croatia, which is situated between the cities Zadar and Split at the Dalmatian coast. You should not miss to berth in Sibenik when you are on your way to visit the famous Krka Waterfalls during your charter holidays.
