Sardinia - The Small Continent

Dreamlike beautiful beaches, emerald green and deep blue shimmering bays, wild fissured coastal landscapes with granite rocks, eucalyptus forests, unexplored caves and grottoes, fruitful plains, various coastal lakes and much more - this is why Sardinia is often referred to as "the small continent". Whereas along the 1800 km long coastline everything is made for swimming, water sports and pure leisure, the areas far inside the island have not been explored yet.

The second biggest island of the Mediterranean still stays to be the absolute inside tip. An oasis under the sun that shines 3000 hours a year. The north-eastern part of Sardinia on the beautiful Costa Smeralda can be reached by ferry or by airplane over the airport Olbia Costa Smeralda. Costa Smeralda is the ideal starting point to sail to the archipelago of La Maddalena or to the Straits of Bonifacio. All marinas of Costa Smeralda belong to the most modern in the whole Mediterranean and are situated only 45 minutes away from the airport.
