18.01.2007 - System Upgrades .NET 2.0

At New Year's Eve 2006/2007 the YachtBooker System was smoothly "set up on new feet". The software update from Microsoft Framework 1.1 to version 2.0 laid the fundament for future developments of the entire YachtBooker System and will guarantee our partners access to the most advanced technologies during the coming years.

After a exhausting period of six months the system upgrade was managed New Year's Day! Minor technical problems could have been solved thanks to the kind attention of our partners during the following days.

Besides the fundamental technological software upgrade a release of the following enhancements concerning the YachtFinder® and the Providers System took place. Some of our partners will recognize there his own proposal he has been patiently waiting for quite some time. Further good ideas that we collected are still on the list and will be completed later this year.


Provider System 2.0 - New features released at the 01.01.2007

CharterManager:

• Switching of bookings to another yacht (without regular cancellation, means on one's own authority)
• Editing of Free- and Blocking-Specials directly from CharterManager
