10. What is difference between offer, option and booking?
- Offer: NOT BINDING QUOTE. Only agent (charter broker) and customer get an email with offer/contract, yacht details, etc.
- Option: BOAT WILL BE BLOCKED FOR OPTIONED PERIOD. The provider and agent get an email, option is automatically blocking the requested period. Agents (charter brokers) are obliged only making options when clients are really interested in a yacht for the time to make up their mind. Agents are also obliged to cancel options immediately, if not needed anymore.
- Booking: BINDING AND FIXED RESERVATION. The client has to pay advance payment within 8 days to agents account. The agent (charter broker) has to forward the payment to provider (less agency commission).
