21. PROVIDER: I see a offer in YachtBooker system. What do next? You are informed in different ways about new offers in YachtBooker.
If it is an offer (= quotation) you just see it in the reporting of the charter cockpit (black letters on white ground). You are not informed via email because it is only a quotation, but nothing which affects your availability, but you might double check just for your own security that the yacht is really available.
If there is a lead like option or booking which affects your availability you are informed in 3 ways:
1. you get email with all details about yacht, port, price, period, agency, etc.
2. you see it light blue (= option) or dark blue (=booking) in the charter cockpit
3. you see it light blue (= option) or dark blue (=booking) in the CharterManager.
In theory nothing special is to do in these cases, but some agents appreciate if you reconfirm via email availability of optioned/booked yacht. If it is a booking you will proceed like “normal” and issue an invoice after reception of booking or down payment or final payment or after completing the charter (this differs according the national tax law of your country.
