Cala Pi – View to the beach
In the bay Cala Pi it is better to moor at the shore with the stern line to prevent the boat from drifting. On weekends, there are many yachts coming, so it is better if you anchor early!
The gorgeous beach Es Trenc (Playa es Trenc) is not far away from Cala Pi. This miles long beach with natural dunes, sparkling white sand and Caribbean water colour is the most beautiful and romantic beach on Majorca. At good weather, it is the best anchoring spot for bathing, relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the Mediterranean.
In the evening, you should enter one of the two secure ports nearby. These are Sa Rapita and Puerto de Campos/Colonia de Sant Jordi. The small town Colonia de Sant Jordi has a great new port promenade with palm trees, where you will find many good restaurants.
Unfortunately, the port Puerto de Campos has just a few guest berths for yachts with over 1.3 metres draught. In some cases, you will have to sail some 5 sea miles back to the bigger port of Sa Rapita.
