Yacht Charter Caribbean Marina Port Saint Louis

Marina Fort St. Louis – A Retreat for Yachting Lovers
The modern and chic marina Fort Saint Louis lies safely at the foot of the old Fort Louis and is surrounded by many shops, restaurants and nighttime venues, making it the perfect place to drop anchor.
Location & Approach
The Fort Louis Marina is located on Saint Martin island in the Caribbean, in the Marigot Bay which can be found on the west side. It’s an important Yacht Charter center since it has a god infrastructure and a good base of services, not to mention a good position in the town of Marigot.

The marina is dominated by the Fort St. Louis which towers several hundred meters above the sea level and it’s one of the oldest buildings in town too. It offers great views of the marina and the entire bay to whoever climbs it, reaching as far as the neighboring island of Anguilla, also a Yacht Charter destination.

The marina’s position is marked by the coordinates 18° 4.2' N63° 5.33' W, and the approach is made easy by the deep waters of the Marigot Bay and the wide entry to the marina. Yacht Charter crews will surely notice the marina’s circular shape with the odd sunrays disposition of the piers. Mooring assistance can be obtained by calling the marina of VHF channel 16 (nonstop admittance by bilingual staff).

Infrastructure & Ambience
The marina can provide shelter to a significantly higher number of boats than the neighboring marinas, up to 150 boats that can be as long as 100m and with a draft as deep as 3.9m. 50 of the berths are reserved for Yacht Charter visitors and all have full services.

The Yacht Charter amenities here include metered water (also ice is available for purchase) and electricity connections, toilets and hot water showers, Wi Fi access, international telephone booths, daily weather report service, car rentals and even a dive shop.

The shipyard on site can perform a series of Yacht Charter repairs, including garbage disposal assistance with oil, battery, waste water etc., refueling operations at the fuel station and a range of mechanical and electrical repairs by approved professionals.

Once you’re done with checking in and settled in the marina, you simply have to go ashore to visit this wonderful town, the famous shopping mall “West Indies”, the waterfront with the fruit and vegetable market happening each Saturday and the many shops and boutiques in town. You’ll only have to remember that in keeping with the Mediterranean legacy, many venues here in town close down a few hours during lunch. But that should cast a shadow on your Yacht Charter trip.
