Cala Mondrago is the destination of your first cruising day. If the wind becomes stronger, you should better spend the night in a secure port like Cala d’Or or Cala Figuera.

Cala Mondrago

Cala Mondrago is the destination of your first cruising day. If the wind becomes stronger, you should better spend the night in a secure port like Cala d’Or or Cala Figuera.

Starting your cruise from the port of Porto Colom, you sail along the steep coast to the south-west and reach the bay of Cala Mondrago after 7 sea miles. The bay has two parts, both with beautiful sand beaches, lying good protected against all winds, even from the southern direction. Cala Mondrago is a gorgeous bay with fantastically clear water and sand ground, which is very good for anchoring. The whole coast is a low-density area, there are just a few houses and some restaurants around it, the rocks are covered with pine trees and agaves. All in all, it is a perfect bay for bathing, snorkelling and relaxing in the sun. At the afternoon, you can have a sundowner in one of the beach bars, relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
