Portocolom – Natural port with great port entrance and a lighthouse
Portocolom – your final port of destination. Coming in the afternoon, you should make a walk through the old town “pueblo”.
From Porto Cristo you sail 8 sea miles to the south to Portocolom. On the way, you will have many possibilities to make a stop in one of the beautiful wild calas of Majorca’s eastern coast. If you wish to stop for bathing and snorkelling one more time, you will have this possibility right before the destination port, in front of the white sand beach of Cala Marcal. The rocks along the port entrance of Portocolom are perfect for snorkelling as well. In the afternoon, you can spend the rest of your time visiting the old town “pueblo”, which belongs to one of the most preserved old towns of the Balearics. Before returning to your berth, you can seat and relax in one of the great restaurants and bars on the port promenade. Some of them belong to the island’s best restaurants.
Tip: The international charter company Veritas Yachting runs in Portocolom its second charter base. Exclusive charter yachts between 12 and 17 metres length can be chartered for sailing trips in the Balearics from the charter base of Veritas Yachting in Portocolom.
