Starting from the eastern coast of Majorca, you can reach the bays Cala Macarella and Cala Galdana within a day cruise. The bays lie in a nature reservation area.

Starting your cruise to Menorca at sunrise, you can anchor in one of the beautiful wild bays on Menorca’s southern coast already in the early afternoon.

On your second day, you cruise to the most beautiful bays of Menorca. The shortest distance between Majorca and Menorca leading from Cala Ratjada to Ciutadella is 24 sea miles. The way to Cala Macarella is 2 sea miles longer. The uninhabited deep bay of Cala Macarella is fabulous – the rocky coasts are covered with pine trees and the quality of water is comparable to the crystal clear waters around the islands of Cabrera. The bay has beautiful sand beaches. In the westerly part of the bay, you lie good protected even at bad weather and wind from the western direction.

The 300 metres wide bay of Cala Santa Galdana is situated only 1 sea mile westerly from Cala Macarella, at the mouth of the canyon Barranc d’Algandar. Because of its pine tree coasts, turquoise blue water and perfect white sand beaches, the bay looks fantastically. However, you should pay attention to the winds. The bay is only safe, when the wind comes from the north.
