This sailing yacht from Jeanneau keeps the design trend of the previous Sun Odyssey models. Philippe Briand has designed a slippery and balanced hull, with dynamic lines and a hard chine. These features give the ”natural beauty” of this boat, as the guys from Jeanneau describe it.
Sun Odyssey 439 is a seaworthy sailboat, it has an innovative deck plan which makes sailing easy. It is a fast yacht which can satisfy both a family cruiser and a racing enthusiast. The interior inspires high-quality due to the fine details of the contemporary design.
Below deck, there are two different accommodation plans for Sun Odyssey 439. One of the layout versions has 2 double after cabins and one large front cabin with its own bathroom. There’s a second bathroom at port side for the other two cabins. The other layout version looks a lot like the first one, with a significant difference – instead of one large front cabin, there’s a smaller one and an additional cabin with bunk bed at port side. The other features are the same for both layouts.
Highlights of the Sun Odyssey 439:
The deck plan of Sun Odyssey 439 is considered innovative due to the fact that it is uncluttered. The decks are kept clean and clear of any obstructions, all sailing functions being moved aft to the cockpit. This feature makes the 439 a short-handed cruiser, on which the crew can handle everything with great ease. There is enough free space around the folding cockpit table to make it a good place for spending quality time outside. The drop-down transom with integrated swim ladder creates a bathing platform which adds more fun to anchorages.
The hard chine gives increased volume inside and the many deck windows and hatches provide a light and airy ambiance. The fine selection of high-end materials, woods and stainless fittings complete the contemporary style of this sailing yacht. With a fully-equipped galley, a large dining area with folding table and a generous settee with chart table at starboard, Sun Odyssey 439 offers plenty of space for many activities. The cabins are really comfortable and roomy and the bathrooms are very well-organized, with separate shower compartments.
