Sun Odyssey 379 is an easy to handle sailing yacht, with great ergonomics and modern aesthetics. Its design was created by Marc Lombard and it features a performance-oriented hull with a hard chine which ensures increased speed, high stability and resistance and in addition it increases the interior volume.
The same designer created the deck layout which is simple and sophisticated at the same time.
This sailing yacht has two different layouts, one with 2 cabins and the other with 3 cabins, both of them have one bathroom; the size differs a bit between the two versions. This model can accommodate from 4 to 6 crewmembers.
In 2012, Sun Odyssey 379 won the ”Domestic Boat of the Year” award from Cruising World.

Sun Odyssey 379 has three different keels including a folding or retracting one. This makes it suitable for mooring or even beaching especially in areas with high tide differences. The cockpit is equipped with twin helms with elegant carbon wheels, generous stowage lockers and electronics from Simrad.
The interior has a contemporary design, it is bright and spacious. The welcoming salon features a fully-equipped galley at starboard which is positioned aft of the U-shaped dining area. In the middle there is a folding dining table and a settee to port with a navigation station at its aft end. The cabins invite to relaxation and give a sense of privacy. This yacht has a many storage compartments on the main deck, in the salon and in the cabins. In addition, the 2 cabin layout version has a very large stowage space behind the bathroom.
