Luxuary Yacht Cruising along the Dalmacian Coast
The 73 ft. steel-displacement yacht "Gisela" is designed and built by STELLA MARIS in Holland from 1995 till 1998 in order to produce a comfortable luxury yacht. Since August 2003 we offer this exclusive and very well maintained yacht.
Transfer
The closest airport is Dubrovnik in Croatia, our base is located in Herzig Novi in Monte Negro and it will be here that our guests embark and disembark. Having our base located in Monte Negro will save you 22% in VAT charges as Monte Negro is still tax-free. Transfers to and from the airport in Dubrovnik are included in the charter coasts and the travel distance between the base and the airport is around 35km.
On arrival at Dubrovnik airport our host greets you and within thirty minutes you will be on board the yacht, moored in the port of Kotor, an ancient walled town. Ideally located in the Kotorski bay allows exploration of the dramatic Adriatic coastline to the north and to the south.
Charter and Services
A one week’s charter including captain, stewardes and crew with meals and drinks (breakfast, lunch, diner, juices, beer, wine, champagne.) The charter includes diesel for 200 nautical miles, excl. harbour fees.
The crew
The crew consists of 3 fantastic people, your captain and chef, his wife, the hostess and a deckhand. The captain has extensive experience working as a professional kitchen chef and hotel manager in the Netherlands and Germany. He has successfully been managing the family run Stella Maris Yachting company since 1994.
Journey and Cruising Area
Dalmatia is truly Mediterranean. Ashore you will be welcomed in the many bars, cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy excellent local food and wines. The region is proud of the seven hundred wines it produces as well as delicacies such as the various home-made and fermented cheeses. Cured meats like prsut, Croatia's excellent home cured ham are gaining an international reputation. The long chain of rugged islands off Croatia's mountainous coast make this a cruising haven that is considered to be among the best in the world. Fine deep channels with abundant anchorage and a stable continental climate attract many yachting enthusiasts. Visit one of the quaint little ports and be amongst the hustle and bustle, or opt for the tranquility of your own little bay. Ideally located in the Kotorski bay allows exploration of the dramatic Adriatic coastline to the north and to the south. As an All Inclusive guest, to complete the holiday idyll, a stewardess caters for all your needs, providing Drinks, breakfast, lunch and diner, while an experienced local skipper navigates a safe passage. To make the most of the holiday, fully detailed seven or fourteen day itineraries and excursions can be suggested or tailored to requirements.
Accomodation
The interior is lavishly and very tastefully furnished with hardwood and burl décor on a mixture of cherry and pear woods. The yacht has a roomy quarterdeck, an (approx.) 55 m2 saloon with an open pantry, helmstand and card table, as well as a bar for eating and drinking. It also has an extremely spacious master stateroom with a bathroom and Jacuzzi, 2 further guest cabins with bathroom, shower and toilet as well as a generous sun deck / flying bridge with a second helmstand, wet bar and seating area.
