The largest of the Aeolian Islands and its main town of the same name have a real highlight to offer – the Museo Eolio Archeologico, museum of archeology. Actors‘ masks from the ancient Greece are simply unique. Approaching yachts can easily spot the town’s mountain. Charter tourists should take a trip along the island’s circular road. Views appearing on the horizon are endlessly beautiful. Those who just would like to bask in the sun should get to the Spiaggia Bianca  which is situated one kilometre away from Lipari. If you expect to see a white beach here you will be astonished: Spiaggia Bianca is covered with dark grit. White pumice stone that once gave the name to the beach had been washed away a long time ago.
