03.02.2006 - Apply for YachtBooker "Quality Award 2006"!

YachtBooker invites all their bareboat charter providers to apply for the "Quality Award 2006".

Nowadays, the internet allows agents and customers easily comparing bareboat charter prices and related service items. Despite all advantages of the “New Transparency” in the online charter market, it has become harder for charter companies selling superior quality charter services for an appropriate market price. In addition, there are still varying ideas about which standards should be provided by a professional charter operator.

In cooperation with partners, YachtBooker developed a list of requirements that are generally accepted as standing for professional bareboat charter services. The commitment of a charter provider to these so called "10 Standard Requirements for Charter Providers" will be awarded with a YachtBooker Quality Star (_*). An additional Quality Star (+_*) will be awarded to charter providers offering a supplemental "Charter Payment Guarantee".

In order to support charter providers selling their quality services for a reasonable market price, the awarded Star(s) will be visible for agents and charter customers in all yacht listings of the YachtBooker Reservation System.

The relevant documents are available as download in PDF format on the YachtBooker homepage. The matriculation starts at the 3rd of February 2006. The listing of the YachtBooker Quality Star(s) will begin at the 15. February 2006, giving enough time for bareboat charter companies to check their own positions and make up their minds.
