23.10.2008 - Brand new features in Provider System V 2.3
The release of the YachtBooker Provider System (Version 2.3) provides some new features that make the daily work of yacht charter operators easier.
Yacht Listings - Custom Sort Order
Every charter company can now sort their yachts according to its own wishes. The result will be seen on all listings in the Provider System: The booking list, price list and the CharterManager (planning). Just establish your custom sort order by yacht size, price, construction year etc. completely according to your needs.
You can modify the sorting of your yachts following the menu Configuration>Yachts (See screenshot). There is a new column on the right side which contains 2 arrow-icons for every yacht. With click of the arrow-upwards, the selected yacht will be listed a line higher. With click of the arrow-down the yacht accordingly moves a line deeper.

Sales Management - Improved Agency Configuration
From now on new agents are AUTOMATICALLY admitted for reservations according to your standard settings which you can set up in the first line. You should anyway check regularly entries of new agents and disable agents with whom you do not want to cooperate (Please go to Configuration>Sales Management). For disabling just click on the red link “disable” in the column “Enabling”.
Recent entries are on the top of the listed agents. The date in the third column is the “System Entry Date” of the regarding agent.
If you have disabled agents you see in column “Enabling” a green link “Enable”. If you want to admit again such disabled agent(s) just click on the green link “Enable”.
For changing the conditions for a specific agent (for example percentage of down payment) just write the new condition into the regarding field and press on the blue link “Save” in the right column “Save Modifications”.
For changing the conditions of groups of agents you can sort the agents according to different sorting criteria. For example if you want to change the conditions for all Italian agents, choose “IT” in the sorting field “Country”, then write the new conditions in the line “standard settings” and press on “Apply Standard Settings to ALL agencies listed below”.
In the column “Your fleet on agency web site?” you can see if the regarding agent has published your fleet in the YachtFinder ® of his website. If there is a green “Published” label, then your fleet is offered via the regarding YachtFinder ®. If you see a grey label “Provider”, then this is an agent for solely its own fleet and if you see the red label “Request” you know that this agent does not offer your fleet in the YachtFinder ® for his website. By pressing on “Request” you may send him an email inviting him to offer your fleet in the YachtFinder ® for his website.
Last important notice:
For booking via the system the agents must get at least the same commission as for bookings “outside” the system. Agencies may not be disadvantaged if they book via the system.
