Croatia Jezera - Living on the Coast

Nowadays, the population of Jezera, situated at a cosy bay south-westerly from Murter, amounts to approximately 400 people. Throughout history, the inhabitants of this small fisher town have been closely connected with the sea. You can see and taste it in the small fish restaurants around the port basin. The name of the town derives from the small ponds that appear after the storms in autumn and spring. Yacht Charter guests who want to leave their boat for a walk through the town, shall visit the gorgeous small town church from the 17th century. Or they can take a walk through the olive groves on the outskirts.
