General Info
From a small and quiet fishing village, Warnemünde has evolved today into Germany’s most important harbor for cruise line ships, with a history that stretchers back to the 1200s. This location in the northeastern part of the German Baltic shoreline is today a major Yacht Charter destination, and not just for sailors but also for people looking for a little seaside fun.

From the 13th century until the 19th century the fishing village was a small settlement that was used by the city of Rostok as an access port to the Baltic Sea but today, most of the income earned here is made out of the tourism, a smaller percent being due to the local ship yard. This was made possible due to the perfect position on the Warnow river estuary that gives it naval access inland.
